Keynote Address: Leo E. Strine, Jr. Former Chief Justice of the Delaware Supreme Court

We are proud to announce that Leo E. Strine, Jr. will provide the CWC 2020 Conference keynote and take part in a moderated discussion on the role of workers in a more inclusive vision of capitalism in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The keynote address will take place on Wednesday, November 18th at 11:00 EST/16:00 British Time/17:00 CET/18:00 South Africa Time.

Mr. Strine served as the Chief Justice of the Delaware Supreme Court in the United States from 2014-2019 and has become a respected commentator on the debate around stakeholder capitalism. His recent writings have touched on proposed changes to corporate governance to enable more "gainsharing" by employees, and the failure of institutional investors to prevent the illegitimate use of worker’s savings for corporate political spending. Mr. Strine is also involved in the effort to develop a framework for inclusive capitalism in the USA.
